Brown Bag Willie & The Tall Boys (Band)
Biography:
Brown Bag Willie & The Tall Boys is comprised of Bill Blevins, Russ Boyd and Matt Peyton will lead the first Blacksburg Market Square jam of 2023 season. The group's main Old Time fiddle influences are Hick Edmonds, Henry Reed, Thorton Spencer, Qscar Wright, Albert Hash, Dewey Hamrick, Ivan Weddle and Melvin Wine. These tunes make up a region including Virginia/North Carolina and interior West Virginia fiddling traditions.
