Description:
Blacksburg Parks and Recreation Department presents Full Moon Rafting on the New River on Monday, June 29, 2026 from 6:30-11:30 PM with a registration deadline of Tuesday, June 23, 2026 meeting at the Blacksburg Community Center.

Have you ever wanted to float down the river at night? Join for a 3–4-hour float, guided only by moonlight and professional raft guides.

The cost is $35.00 for Town of Blacksburg residents and $45.00 for non-residents.

Participants will meet at the Blacksburg Community Center before heading out.

The outdoor program is available to all 11 years or older. Note: A parent or guardian attendance required for youth under 16.

The registration deadline is by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

The Blacksburg Community Center is located at 725 Patrick Henry Drive in Blacksburg, VA.
