The Town of Floyd continues their 9th Annual Floyd Small Town Summer event series with Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, Denim & Plaid and The Handmade Music School on Thursday, July 2, 2026 outside at Warren G. Lineberry Memorial Park.
Join us for a very special evening with Rhonda Vincent & The Rage and opening sets from the next generation of old time and bluegrass music with Denim & Plaid and The Handmade School.
Famously crowned as "The New Queen of Bluegrass" by the Wall Street Journal, and the most decorated artist in that field. Rhonda Vincent's music incorporates savvy contemporary touches while drawing deeply from the authentic traditions of classic bluegrass, with a flawless band that can execute break-neck instrumentals to heart wrenching ballads.
Rhonda Vincent is an 8-time IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year and a six time Grammy nominee. With over 80 awards to their name, Rhonda Vincent and The Rage are the most celebrated band in bluegrass.

Denim & Plaid delivers a hard-driving, high-energy bluegrass experience that blends powerful vocals with masterful instrumental performances. Representing the next generation of bluegrass music, this talented youth band has quickly built a reputation for electrifying audiences with their passion, skill, and infectious energy. The band features several award-winning young musicians.
Founded in 2016, the Handmade Music School, based in Floyd, VA, is a hub for traditional music education, celebrating the region’s rich musical heritage while fostering community and creativity.
The Small Town Fall Festival Event Series is free and open to the public.
The Town of Floyd offers this series of free events to provide a fun, family-friendly atmosphere in downtown Floyd, VA. Featuring music, movies, face-painting, inflatables, games, food and beverage and special activities presented by a variety of community organizations from June 4, 2026 until August 27, 2026.
Bring your lawn chair and/or blanket and we'll provide the popcorn for the movie.
Gates will be open and access provided to the public starting at 6:00 PM.
