Description:
Outerspace presents their Second Saturday Songwriter Circle with Stella Trudel, Brad Collier and Carla Harmon Nelson and host Barry LeNoir on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

Join us for an intimate and fascinating evening of original music from three amazing artists as hear what's behind the songs they have crafted. Songwriters Brad Collier, Carla Harmon Nelson, and Stella Trudel together on the stage with emcee Barry LeNoir, swapping songs and inspiration, all in the cosmically cozy dinner-and-drinks-oasis of OuterSpace.

Stella Trudel is a singer and songwriter who lives in Floyd, Virginia and winters in Canyon Lake, Texas. She is also the lead singer of the band Cocobolo.

Stella Trudel grew up in a musical family and tried many instruments on for size including ukulele, flute, recorder, harmonica, dulcimer, piano, sitar and Indian tabla’s, until she finally received a hand me down guitar at age 15 and immediately began to study chord charts, finger picking and practiced writing her own songs.

After moving to Austin, Texas at the age of 17, she was inspired by the area’s enthusiasm for songwriting, and actively listened to local talent, including Townes Van Zandt, Nanci Griffith, and Shake Russell. Becoming a full-fledged singer-songwriter was her new passion, and a taste of Texas still flavors her music.

Today she lives in Floyd, Virginia, winters in the Austin, Texas area and spends most of her time writing songs, singing and practicing guitar. She loves to sing from the heart and consciously directs her attention and focus to music to see what will unfold.

Brad Collier is an independent singer-songwriter based in Southwestern Virginia. After decades of traveling the country playing a mix of traditional and original folk music, J. Bradley settled back down in the rolling hills of his youth to focus on new music and a growing passion for building string instruments.

Barry LeNoir is a musician from Floyd, Virginia playing "sentimental and irreverent" acoustic Rock-Folk-Pop-Americana and several surprises from his deep and eclectic catalog of over 600 new and old covers.

Reverent and raucous, sacred, saucy, and always fun; acoustic guitar and harmonica songs as fit for the pub as they are for the pulpit.
