Science on Tap - New River Valley presents the program titled "The Synapse Showdown" on Thursday June 25, 2026 at Rising Silo Farm Brewery.

Join us for The Synapse Showdown - a night of brain-bending trivia, mini-talks, and hands-on activities brought to you by neuroscience graduate students from Virginia Tech. This month, we're mixing things up: Expect short, punchy talks on some of the coolest corners of neuroscience, woven between trivia rounds and crowd challenges.

No prior science knowledge required, just bring your curiosity!

Science on Tap is free and open to the public and is hosted by the Center for Communicating Science at Virginia Tech and Virginia Tech's chapter of Sigma Xi.
