The Arc of the New River Valley presents the 5th Annual Arc in the Park on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Shelter #1 at Christiansburg Huckleberry Park.

Enjoy free food, summer fun at the Splash Pad & Inclusive Play structure, and friends! The presentation of the Renee Brown Award will be at 4:00 PM and the Annual Raffle Prize Drawing will be held at 5:00 PM. Food will be provided by Simple Fixins, a hot dog truck run by a father and his son with autism.

Play our raffle for a chance to win a $500 Kroger gift card plus other prizes including family passes to Mill Mountain Zoo, night stay at Mountain Lake Lodge! Raffle tickets are $5.00 each or five tickets for $20.00. Tickets may be purchased in person at the event or online at: https://www.thearcnrv.org/raffle/. You do not need to be present to win. The winner will be drawn at 5:00 PM at the event.

Admission is free and all are welcome. The park is handicap accessible.

The Arc of the NRV is a local non-profit organization that advocates for people with developmental disabilities and their families. We are committed to advocating for the essential community-based services and supports that help make this vision a reality.

Christiansburg Huckleberry Park is located at 300 Peppers Ferry Road in Christiansburg, VA and Shelter #1 is the big shelter located beside the inclusive playground and splash pad.
