Virginia Tech and the Town of Blacksburg’s 2026 Summer Arts Festival proudly presents Solacoustix in the final concert of the 2026 festival on the Henderson Lawn in downtown Blacksburg, VA on Friday, July 31, 2026.

Solacoustix is a music phenomenon, specializing and performing anything from blues and R&B to country and rock. The band is based in Roanoke, VA. Solacoustix has played Floydfest and around the state to several college and university crowds.

Jo Jo Stockton leads on bass while singer Stuart Brown mixes and mashes all types of current and classic music adding his own soulful voice to make each song his own. Originally a duo, hence the name Solacoustix, they have added two additional members to round out the four piece.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Bring chairs or a blanket, a picnic, and settle in for an evening of live music.

In the event of inclement weather, this event will be canceled.

Friday Night Outdoor Concerts on Henderson Lawn are presented by Virginia Tech and the Town of Blacksburg as part of the 2026 Summer Arts Festival.

The lawn surrounds Henderson Hall, which houses the School of Performing Arts, on the Virginia Tech campus and is across from The Lyric in downtown
