The Southern Fried Hippies are a four-piece rock band from Galax, VA. They bring a varied collection of musical tastes and influences that anyone can dance and connect with.

Their original songs span from genres such as funkified rock, reggae, indie, and country. Their selections of covers are just as varied, hitting both classics one would anticipate, as well as B-sides for the pickier patron.

Born on April 20th, 2024, the Hippies have been hard at work bringing their sound and professionalism to a head since, with local performances at dive bars, music festivals, and theaters. With a main goal of playing good music, and having a good time, any crowd will find their good vibes contagious and join along.
