The Engagement Center for Creative Aging at Virginia Tech presents the first lecture in their Caregiver Wellness Lecture Series with Senior Hospice Care Consultant with Gentiva Hospice on Monday, November 10, 2025 with a registration deadline of Friday, November 7, 2025 inside Steger Hall Auditorium on the campus of Virginia Tech.

The first lecture will be an overview about home health, palliative and hospice care. Hear from Amber Akers, a senior hospice care consultant at Gentiva Hospice. Learn more about palliative care, navigating home health and hospice as a caregiver.

This event is free, but registration is required.
