Description:
The 2025 Floyd Ghost Tours will be held on Friday and Saturday evenings starting on Friday, October 3, 2025 through Saturday, November 8, 2025 starting and ending at the Floyd Community Market Pavilion.

Ghost Tour Schedule:
• Friday, October 3rd & Saturday, October 4th at 7:00 & 8:00 PM
• Friday, October 10th & Saturday, October 11th at 6:00, 7:00 & 8:00 PM
• Friday, October 17th & Saturday, October 18th at 6:00, 7:00 & 8:00 PM
• Friday, October 24th & Saturday, October 25th at 6:00, 7:00 & 8:00 PM
• Saturday, November 1st at 6:00, 7:00 & 8:00 PM (no tours on Halloween)
• Friday, November 7th & Saturday, November 8th at 7:00 & 8:00 PM

The Floyd Ghost Tour is led by actor and guide Cameron Woodruff. Participants will enjoy a one hour walking tour around the Jacksonville Cemetery and the center of the town of Floyd.

Whether you are new to the area or have lived here for a long time, you will still find out things about the area that you never knew. Audacious stories of moonshiners (living ones and ghostly ones), haunted buildings in town, ghostly legends of Buffalo Mountain and more.

Find out about Floyd's link to famous people: Edgar Allen Poe, revolutionary Patrick Henry, and Civil War general J.E.B. Stuart.

Admission is $15.00 per person for the one hour walking tour.

No reservations are needed. Tours are rain or shine.

Note: There will be no tours on Halloween night.

Participants will meet under the pavilion at the Floyd Community Market and Artisan Pavilion located at 219 South Locust Street in Floyd, VA.
