Description:
Blacksburg Contra Dance presents their November Blacksburg Contra Dance on Sunday, November 16, 2025 on the dance floor at the YMCA at Virginia Tech.

Dance Schedule:
• 7:00-7:30 PM: Beginners Lesson
• 7:30-10:30 PM: Contra Dance

Enjoy a special Sunday afternoon Contra Dance. This month's concert features caller Warren Doyle and live music from North Dixie Boom Chicks.

Contra Dance is a traditional American dance in which couples dance in two long facing lines or in groups of four. No partner required!

The cost is $12.00 for adults, $10.00 for students and children under the age of 16 are free.

A beginner lesson starts at 7:00 PM and the dancing starts at 7:30 PM.

All are welcome.

If you feel sick or were recently exposed to someone with symptoms of an illness that may be contagious, please stay home and take care of yourself so we can see you at our next dance.

The YMCA at Virginia Tech is located at 1000 North Main Street in Blacksburg, VA.
