The Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley presents a Reception for Ross Art, a Solo Exhibit by Ernie Ross, on Friday, April 26, 2024.

Award-winning, local artist and popular art teacher, Ernie Ross, has a celebration of his work on display in the Edna B. Love Gallery at the Fine Arts Center. It is a collection of 2D and 3D art spanning many years of this proficient artist.

Ernie enjoys acrylics and watercolor, but has also begun using copic markers, and will use them on just about any medium, not just canvases. This exhibit is Ernie’s first-ever solo exhibit, and the Fine Arts Center is very pleased to be able to help Ernie accomplish this well-deserved milestone in his journey.

Ernie has been painting from a very early age and now shares his art with others, both in the art he creates and the classes he has taught for many years. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Ernie shares his talent with other veterans and with those living in long-term care facilities by helping them explore different types of art for expression, entertainment, and maybe a bit of self-exploration.

The reception is open to the public.

There will be light refreshments and a cash bar available.

The exhibit will be available on display until Saturday, June 1st. The Fine Arts Center is open Wednesdays through Fridays from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Saturdays from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

The Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley is located at 21 West Main Street in Pulaski, VA.
