VA Momentum presents the 3rd Annual Blacksburg Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 26, 2020 from the comfort of your preferred course anywhere in the world.
Blacksburg's Thanksgiving morning tradition continues in 2020! The Turkey Trot may look a little different this year, but we know you want to get your exercise with the people you love on Turkey Day. We're talking all the positive community vibes you need to kick off your holiday weekend on the right foot.
You can run or walk anytime between 5:00 am to 12:00 pm. Pick your favorite location, your favorite pace and your favorite companions. The distance is 3.1 miles (5K). When you finish, you'll submit your time via our online platform to formalize your completion of the goal.
All participants who register by November 9th are guaranteed to receive a long-sleeve shirt and race bib so everyone in your neighborhood knows you're official. Plus a morning full of motivation and excitement as we keep the tradition alive.
The cost is $20.00 for the Blacksburg Turkey Trot not including the online processing fees.

We’ll be hosting a safe, socially distanced packet pickup in Blacksburg, VA from 1:00-6:00 pm on Wednesday, November 25th with the location TBD. You will also have an option to have your packet mailed when you register. There is an additional $7.00 per individual or $12.00 per family/group cost to mail your packet(s).
We will be collecting canned foods and non-perishables for the Interfaith Food Pantry from all participants at packet pickup. In addition to the food collection, a cash portion of the proceeds will go directly to the Interfaith Food Pantry.
VA Momentum is a social enterprise created by two buddies who share a bond over energizing the community for good. It's most important to us that people of all skill levels and backgrounds feel welcome at our events and that we create a sense of community around being active. We build an audience for our partner businesses and charities.
VA Momentum has provided us with entrepreneurial autonomy we take seriously. We don't keep it a secret that we are a for-profit, for-purpose organization whose obligation is acting for the benefit of society and the benefit of our families at the same time.
