Virginia Tech Human Development and Family Science Student Association presents a Free Movie Night featuring "The Notebook" on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at The Lyric Theatre.

• 9:00-9:30 PM: Discussion
Join us for a free movie night! Enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks while watching "The Notebook", followed by a brief discussion led by Human Development and Family Science faculty.
"The Notebook" is a tender story about the enduring power of love, a story of miracles that will stay with you forever. Learn how the main couple in the story deal with finding love, losing love and the impact of Alzheimer’s disease.
"The Notebook" is a 2004 drama romance rated PG-13 starring Gena Rowlands, James Garner and Rachel McAdams.

Students, faculty, and members of the Virginia Tech and Blacksburg community are all welcome to attend.
Doors open at 6:30 PM and the movie starts at 7:00 PM.
