Draper Mercantile and Trading Company and the Draper Village presents their Christmas in the Village 2025 on Sunday, December 21, 2025.

Event Schedule:
• 2:00-3:30 PM: Visit with Santa at The Conery
• 2:00-4:00 PM: Music with Riley and the Rootabagas (The Village Chapel)
• 4:00-7:00 PM: Carriage Rides
• 4:00-6:00 PM: Santa at The Merc
• 5:00-6:00 PM: Community Christmas Carol Sing-Along on Blooms Porch

Enjoy carriage rides, Santa Claus, live music, shopping and much more!

Riley and the Rootabagas will perform a special Christmas and holiday music Listening Room experience at The Draper Village Chapel from 2:00-4:00 PM with doors open at 1:30 PM. Admission is free though a love offering will be collected for the band.

Riley and the Rootabagas are an acoustic roots band based in the New River Valley.

These four seasoned musicians feature deep rich vocals, luscious smooth harmonies, and the succulent sounds of guitar, fiddle, and stand up bass. They perform selections from their favorite artists and songwriters, traditional and contemporary, all arranged with their own Rootabaga flavor. The quartet has cooked up a stewpot of Americana music to share with their listening audiences, simmering with folk, blues, country, western swing, gospel, jazz, Celtic, and Appalachian old time bluegrass. Their menu includes some instrumental tunes, some a cappella songs, and a side dish of originals.

From bowed ballads to rollicking rhythms, their concert will leave you smiling!

Carriage rides are offered at The Merc from 4:00-7:00 PM and are $20.00 per person. Carriage rides are offered on a first come, first serve basis.

Santa will be traveling throughout Draper Village. From 2:00-3:00 PM, visit Santa at The Conery and then will be in the Taborri Room within the Draper Mercantile from 4:00-6:00 PM.

There will also be a Community Christmas Carol Sing-Along on Blooms Porch from 5:00-6:00 PM.

Admission is free and all are welcome.
