Description:
Top Of The Stairs presents Jack Astronaut in concert on Saturday, August 9, 2025.
Jack Astronaut makes its debut at TOTS, although it’s more of a homecoming of sorts, from playing here so many times in the late 1980s, this is going to be a fun one!
Jack Astronaut is a Washington DC-based original rock band drawing from multiple styles and eras for a unique blend of rock, alternative and singer/songwriter-influenced original music.
Formed in 2019 by a group of Virginia Tech friends and alumni with original musical ties as a Blacksburg, VA cover band in the late 1980s. The Jack Astronaut sound is driven by a broad range of influences, spanning from classic rock, 1980s and 1990s alternative, through current-day rock bands and singer/songwriter artists. The result is a diverse musical style with multi-layered instrumentation and vocal harmonies blended into songs crafted on personal stories and life experiences.
