The Christiansburg Police Department presents their Annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Huckleberry Park in Christiansburg, VA.
Enjoy an evening of free food, drinks, activities and more! The event is a national community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships. Kids and families can learn more about local Emergency Services while also joining in on fun activities! Be sure to stop by our Community Outreach table to learn how you can get involved and make a difference in our community.
Activities and demonstrations at the event will include:
• Free meal for the first 250 guests (hot dog, chips & drink from Simple Fixins)
• Free Snow Cones
• Free Face Painting
• Kid & Adult Obstacle Courses
• Emergency Services Touch-A-Truck
• Child Fingerprinting (Parents keep the fingerprints)
• Emergency Response Team Demo (6:00 PM)
• Lifeguard 10 Landing (Call Volume Permitting) (6:30 PM)
• K9 Demo (7:00 PM)
• Drone Team Demo (8:00 PM)
Enjoy free food, face painting, demonstrations, snow cones and more! There will be a National Night Out Touch-A-Truck featuring Christiansburg Police, Fire, EMS, Blacksburg Police, Montgomery County Police, Virginia Tech Police, Department of Wildlife Resource and Virginia State Police. The Life-Guard Helicopter is also scheduled to land on site with its call volume permitting.
