The Christiansburg Farmers Market presents their 2023 Opening Day on Thursday, May 18, 2023 in the parking lot of the Christiansburg Recreation Center.
Join us for our opening day for the 2023 season! The afternoon will include some of your favorite vendors and a few new ones as well. If you haven't planted your garden yet, vendors will have a variety of plants and seedlings available for purchase.
Vendors include:
• Afternoon Delight: Bakery and Crafts
• Deer Park Farm
• Cavalier Farm
• StitchMode
• Lil' Bit Corny
• Squeeze'um and Shake'um Refreshment
• Scallywag Letterpress
• Space Rabbit Coffee
• Sun & Spruce Soaps
• Frank Farm
• Kat's Stylish Scrunchies *
• Duck Duck Hunt *
• Cuddle Critters *
* Denotes youth vendors that are part of a 4-H collaborative program.
Additionally, bring a lawn chair and listen to live music performed by Jim Bohon from the band Jimothy.
Free popsicles will be given away to the first 150 people at the market along with other special giveaways.
The opening of the market will also see the return of plastic bag collection, phrase of the day and Rusty the market mascot.
The Christiansburg Farmers Market is open every Thursday from 3:00-7:00 PM at the Christiansburg Rec Center from May 18th through October 26th.
