St. Luke and Odd Fellows Hall presents a Historic New Town Program with Christiansburg Institute on Friday, May 5, 2023.

Join the Blacksburg Museum & Cultural Foundation and Christiansburg Institute, Inc. to learn about one of the oldest Black neighborhoods and communities in Montgomery County, historic New Town, formerly located in Blacksburg, Virginia.

The evening will include guest speaker Christine King who will provide a presentation that offers a historical summary of historic New Town. The presentation will be followed by a moderated panel discussion featuring local community members that grew up and/or lived in historic New Town.

St. Luke and Odd Fellows Hall is located at 203 Gilbert Street in Blacksburg, VA.
