Description:
Greenhouse and Blacksburg Parks and Recreation Department presents the annual skateboard contest "Battle In The Burg" on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Blacksburg Skate Park.

Event Schedule:
• 1:00 PM: Registration begins
• 2:00 PM: Skateboard Contest begins

Watch the local skateboard talent of all levels compete with lots of prizes on the line. First, second and third place prizes will be awarded for each event. Each contestant will receive a free t-shirt. Music will be provided by DJ CSharp and Virginia Tech's Digging in the Crates.

All proceeds benefit the future expansion of the skatepark.

The cost to enter is $10.00 per person and cash only please. Spectators are free.

All skill levels and ages are welcome.

Helmets are required and will be provided.

Blacksburg Skate Park is located at 615 Patrick Henry Drive in Blacksburg, VA.
