Selah Springs presents the Mike Mitchell Band in concert and CD Release Celebration on Saturday, April 15, 2023.

Join us for an evening of great music featuring Mike Mitchell Band. Original songs in a traditional flavor.

Mike Mitchell is a singer and songwriter from Floyd, VA specializing in the fiddle and violin. Mike plays traditional and contemporary bluegrass music in the southwest Virginia area.

With his effortless vocals, distinctive songwriting, and instrumental prowess, Mike continues to capture audiences and carve out his own place in bluegrass.

Educated at the Western Conservatory of Music in Ontario, Canada, Mike Mitchell began playing the violin at the age of five. His passion for music led him to a string performance major at Youngstown State University, and more than 10 years of national touring with rock and acoustic ensembles.

Aditionally, Mike performs with the acclaimed mountain music group, Blue Moonshine, and Floyd Time.
