Description:
Montgomery County Parks & Recreation presents the 2023 Kids' Fishing Day for ages 15 & under on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Pandapas Pond in Blacksburg, VA.

Prizes will be awarded to the largest fish, and Montgomery County Parks and Recreation will be on site providing a hot dog lunch with lemonade. Pandapas Pond will be stocked specially for this event, and the trail and pond will be closed to the public except for participants.

Area Conservation Police Officers will be on hand to measure the fish. At noon, a whistle will blow and the fishing derby ends!

The event is free is for ages 15 and under.

You do not need to register for this event.

This program is sponsored by the United States Forest Service and the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources.
