The Annual Virginia Tech Maroon vs. White Spring Football game will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 in Lane Stadium starting at 3:00 PM.
This is your first chance to watch the 2023 Hokie football team with head coach Brent Pry and his coaching staff.
The Hokies' roster will be split into Maroon and White units. Tech's coaching staff will be also be evenly distributed between the two "teams". The 1st and 2nd Quarters will be 12 minutes each with traditional in-game clock stoppages. The 3rd and 4th quarters will have a running clock and halftime will be 10 minutes long.
Once the team has cleared the field following the conclusion of the game, an announcement will be made inviting fans access to Worsham Field. Fans will be permitted to take photos and congregate on the field for a 30-minute period.
Admission is free.
The football team will arrive for Hokie Walk on Beamer Way at approximately 12:30 PM while the Lane Stadium gates will open at 1:00 PM in advance of the spring game. Pregame activities for all ages in Hokie Village will start at 11:30 AM featuring live music from the Jared Stout Band along with inflatables, tailgate games and food trucks.
Concessions will be open and the University Bookstore will have their stadium stores open.
Parking is free and will be offered on a first come, first serve basis.
The game will be broadcast on the radio on 105.3 FM and online on ACC Network Extra.
