The Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine presents their Annual Open House on Saturday, April 15, 2023.
Discover how Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine makes a difference in animal care. Meet our incredible faculty, tour the college, learn about our programs and hospitals, and enjoy food and activities like teddy-bear repair, painted horses, animal handling, lectures, dog sport & horseshoeing demonstrations, Virginia Tech's therapy dogs, tie dye pet bandanas, exotic pet show & tell, horseshoe painting and more!
Food trucks include: Bootleg BBQ, Empanada Nirvana, Grandpa Ike's Donuts, Sam's Hot Dogs and Space Rabbit Coffee.
Walk-up tours will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests can also pre-register for tours at: https://virginiatech.questionpro.com/a/TakeSurvey?tt=WSMO6R9/DpsECHrPeIW9eQ%3D%3D.
Admission is free and the event is open to the community and family-friendly.
Note: We care deeply about all animals at VMCVM. So for the safety of patients at the hospital and open house demonstration animals, we ask that guests do not bring pets to the event.
The VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine is located at 205 Duck Pond Drive in Blacksburg, VA on the campus of Virginia Tech.
