New River Community College presents Artist Talk and Reception for Photography Exhibit "Appalachian Days and Nights" on Monday, February 27, 2023 at the Fletcher Gallery in Godbey Hall on New River Community College’s campus in Dublin, VA.
New River Community College will host a photographic exhibition, "Appalachian Days and Nights", by artist Jeremy Riffe. Riffe grew up in Bluefield, VA and was influenced early on by his parents.
"My mother loved photography and my father was an avid outdoorsman. That spark didn’t ignite until I was in my twenties when I bought my first SLR camera," said Riffe. "After that I taught myself nature photography on film, eventually migrating to the digital medium. The intensity of my passion has varied over the years, but photography has always been my favorite pastime".
The show will run from February 14th through April 28th at the Fletcher Gallery.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
Gallery hours are Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays by request and Fridays from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
