Description:
Alexander Black House & Cultural Center presents an Environmental Workshop on Saturday, March 4, 2023.
Looking for ways to reduce your impact on the environment? Join us at the Alexander Black House for a waste reduction workshop. This event was inspired by the environmental concerns of wood sculptor, Michel Sicardi, whose current exhibition, "Michel Sicardi: Finding Paradise in the Woods" is at the Alexander Black House until mid-March.
Town of Blacksburg's Sustainability Manager, Carol Davis, will lead the workshop, describing ways to reduce personal waste, from composting to buying more sustainably.
This is a free family-friendly event.
Alexander Black House & Cultural Center is located at 204 Draper Road in Blacksburg, VA.
