St. John's Episcopal Church presents The Music on the Corner concert on March 3, 2023 at St. John's Episcopal Church, on the corner of Jefferson and Elm Streets, in downtown Roanoke, VA.
This concert will be featuring John Bullard playing the banjo, accompanied by Marcus Compton on the piano. This will be a truly different banjo experience – think "Banjo meets Bach"! Mr. Bullard will be playing classical pieces, showcasing the banjo as truly versatile instrument.
The Music on the Corner evenings begin at 5:15 PM with a complementary wine and cheese reception and social time.
Our concerts are free to our audiences. We cover our expenses completely through the donations of our patrons, and we thank you for any gift you can give. All are tax deductible and are acknowledged in the program unless you request that your gift be anonymous.
The concerts begins at 6:00 in the beautiful St. John’s church and will last about an hour.
The church is fully handicap accessible from the Elm Ave entrance with spaces in the concert area for wheelchairs.
