The Radford University Honors College presents the 2023 Honors Lecture featuring Dr. Kerri Moseley-Hobbs on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 inside the Bonnie Auditorium on the campus of Radford University.
Dr. Kerri Moseley-Hobbs will deliver the 2023 Honors Lecture titled, "How to Never Give Up: An Introduction to the Motherland Effect".
As Founder and Executive Director of the More Than A Fraction Foundation (http://morethanafraction.com/about.html) Dr. Kerri Moseley-Hobbs continues an almost 20-year career in education. Along with her extensive work with prestigious projects, she is a research author of a creative non-fiction book “More Than a Fraction: Based on a True Story”. Current projects regarding the voices of pre-20th century Africans in America and African Americans include work under the More Than A Fraction Foundation including collaborative projects with Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, the Virginia Governor’s Executive Mansion descendants committee, and the case study on the feasibility of reconciliation for the unfinished business of American slavery.
This free event is open to the entire New River Valley community and is sponsored by the Radford University Honors College.
