Newport Community Center presents their 2022 Newport Christmas Market on Saturday, December 10, 2022.
Event Schedule:
• 10:00-11:00 AM: Gingerbread House Competition Dropoff
• 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM: Santa Clause on site
• 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM: Lunch Available for Purchase
• 3:30 PM: Gingerbread Contest Winner Announced
• 4:00 PM: Tree Lighting
The Newport Village Christmas Market is held the second Saturday in December each year and features local artisan vendors, a holiday luncheon, children’s crafts available all day, gingerbread contest, original entertainment and a tree lighting ceremony.
To participate in the Gingerbread House Competition bring your fully decorated house to the Newport Community Center between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Voting will take place by the community on the day of the event. Winners will announced at the Tree Lighting Ceremony.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
It’s a day for the whole family!
Newport Community Center is located at 434 Blue Grass Trail (Route 42) in Newport, VA.
