Pulaski County presents "A Salute To Our Veterans" and the dedication of the new exhibit "Remembering The Sacrifices For Freedom" on Monday, July 4, 2022 at the Pulaski Theatre.

The Pulaski County Courthouse Exhibits Committee, Pulaski County Board of Supervisors, and Pulaski County Veterans’ Organizations cordially invite you to a Veterans Salute and Remembrance Ceremony.

At the "Salute to Our Veterans" ceremony, attendees can expect guest speakers, presentation of colors, singing of the national anthem, and recognition of POW/MIA. The event will then move to the lawn of the Old Pulaski County Courthouse where there will be a 21-gun salute and the playing of Taps. After the playing of Taps, the ribbon cutting ceremony will take place.

The ribbon cutting ceremony is to celebrate the dedication of the new historic exhibit "Remembering the Sacrifices for Freedom" that will be located on the 3rd floor of the Old Pulaski County Courthouse.

The exhibit will feature donated items from veterans and their families from various wars. The exhibit will include items from the Revolutionary War era up to the war in Afghanistan. These items help tell the story of the important role the people of Pulaski County have played in fighting for freedom.

Exhibit tours will be given by Courthouse Exhibits Committee members. There will also be refreshments available on the Old Courthouse lawn.

Admission is free and all are welcome.
