The Town of Narrows and the Narrows Parks & Recreation presents the 71st Annual Narrows Homecoming Festival and July 4th Celebration on Monday, July 4, 2022 at the Narrows Town Park.

Schedule:
• 11:00 AM: 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament begins
• 12:15-12:30 PM: Children's Parade Line-Up on Monroe Street
• 12:30-1:00 PM: Children's Parade
• 1:00 PM: Flag Raising Ceremony
• 1:10 PM: National Anthem
• 1:15 PM: Welcome Speech by Mayor
• 1:30 PM: Dedication of Festival
• 1:00-6:30 PM: Splash Pad & Bounce House Open
• 1:00-5:00 PM: Water Balloon Booth Open
• 1:00-5:00 PM: Vendors Open & Available
• 1:00-8:00 PM: Food Open & Available
• 5:00-6:00 PM: 4ever Classic Performs
• 6:30-8:00 PM: J. Hatfield Performs
• ~9:45 PM: Fireworks Show

Bring the family out for a day of fun and celebrating! Enjoy food, games, vendors, fireworks, music and more!

The annual Children's Parade from Monroe Street to the Town Park, outdoors activities, live music all day with an evening concert featuring live music from headliner J. Hatfield and 4Ever Classic, playground area for ages 6 months to 5 years old, 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, splash pad & water slide, bounce house, a variety of food and other vendors and finish the evening with a fireworks show.

The Children's Parade is open to all children to walk or ride bikes, scooters, peddle cars, etc. and to dress up in your best patriotic attire. The line-up begins at 12:15 PM on Monroe Street behind Ragsdale football field and the parade begins at 12:30 PM. No registration required and no gasoline powered rides allowed.

The fireworks show will be set off from the field in front of the VFW on Main Street in Narrows, VA as in the past two years for better viewing opportunities. The fireworks will begin around 9:45 PM and all Homecoming festivities will end by 8:00 PM.

Food options include Bubba's Barn, El Diablo Twisted Grill, Scoops along with funnel cakes, Dippin' Dots, popcorn, cotton candy, sno cones, lemonade and more.

The gates open at 12:00 PM and the activities will start at 12:30 PM with the annual Children's Parade.

The Narrows Town Park, or "The Boom", is located on five acres situated on Route 61 between Wolf Creek and Park Drive in Narrows, VA.
