Historic Smithfield presents A Smithfield Hallowe'en: Sips and Spirits on Saturday, October 26, 2019.

Embark on a moonlit walk on the historic grounds of Smithfield and become enthralled by a dramatic re-telling of Washington Irving’s classic, "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow", performed by professional actors. Walk the Smithfield’s grounds to see open-hearth cooking, blacksmithing and more, all while enjoying wine, cider, and doughnuts available for purchase from our featured vendors, Blue Ridge Cider Doughnuts and Whitebarrel Winery.

Sips and Spirits tickets are $20.00 per person.

Add on a lantern-lit cemetery tour for extra fun for $10.00 a person available at 7:00 pm, 8:00 pm or 9:00 pm. Exclusively available to Sip and Spirits attendees.

Lantern-Lit Tours:
Travel to the Preston Family Cemetery and watch as it comes alive with spirits of past Prestons who will share their stories and tales with all who visit. Sturdy shoes and good health are required for this 1.5 mile round trip walk to and from the Preston Cemetery.
