The Pine Tavern Restaurant presents Acoustic Garcia in concert on Thursday, December 13, 2018.

NOTE: Due to the snowstorm, the concert was postponed until Thursday, December 13th instead of on Sunday, December 9th.

The musical lads and lassie from Floyd, Virginia perform an acoustic tribute to the genius and creativity of Dead lead guitar player and icon, Jerry Garcia.

Acoustic Garcia honors the acoustic tradition and side of Jerry Garcia with a range of songs, some familiar and others more off the beaten path, by using their Appalachian rooted acoustic skills and harmonies to produce a woven tapestry of sounds that return the listener to those olden Dead days when listening to music was more like embarking on a mystical journey. Deadhead Pickers feature Dave Fason, David Cannaday, Stella Trudel Stephen McCartney, Brad Collier and Alan Graf.

This is a one time performance that you won't want to miss.

Advance discounted tickets can be purchased for $10.00 at the Republic of Floyd and the New Mountain Mercantile, both located in downtown Floyd, VA. Otherwise, its $12.00 at the door.

Like any Dead show, recording devices are allowed and singing along with the music encouraged.
