Join ContraFolk at Virginia Tech for their October Contra Dance on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the McComas Single Gym on the campus of Virginia Tech.
UPDATE: The dance was originally scheduled for War Memorial Gym Room 141, but has been moved to McComas Single Gym due to unexpected circumstances.
Schedule:
• 7:00 pm: Beginner Lesson
• 7:30-9:30 pm: Dancing
Enjoy an evening of gender role free community dancing! A live band, Playing with Fire, and caller Stephanie Marie will help guide the dance through instructional calling and live music. We'll see you there!
Admission is free for students and there is a $5.00 suggested donation for everyone else. Beginners, experts, students, locals, out-of-towners and all are welcome.
