Description:
The Blacksburg Museum and Cultural Foundation presents the 5th Annual Blues, Brews, and BBQ on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at St. Luke and Odd Fellows Hall in Blacksburg, VA.

This year's event will feature six bands on two stages. Vintage cars from the “Grand Classics Cruisers” club will be on display, as well as a number of new vendors. Beer, wine, & BBQ will be available for purchase.

Admission is free, though a $5.00 donation is suggested.

SCHEDULE OF PERFORMERS:
• 12:00-1:00 pm: The Woogeman
• 1:00-2:00 pm: Smokestack Lightnin’ Blues Band featuring Little Rodger
• 2:00-3:00 pm: Lady D
• 3:00-4:00 pm: The Bill Hoffman Quintet
• 4:00-5:00 pm: JoJo Stockton
• 5:00-6:00 pm: Hoppie Vaughan and the Ministers of Soul

The Woogemen are a blues-based, little big-band with a wide musical footprint based in the New River Valley. Playing and reprising music from eras past including folk, rock, jazz, soul, and funk. From Louis Armstrong to Pink Floyd, John Prine to The Meters, The Woogemen have you covered.

As band leader and guitarist for Hott Sauce, Franklin County native JoJo Stockton is no stranger to the Roanoke music scene, where he currently is based. If you’re a fan of neo-soul, R&B, funk or old school music, make plans to see JoJo Stockton.

The diversely talented Hoppie Vaughan is all about the soul! He is a blue eyed soul singer, song writer, guitar and bass player. Besides performing solo, he is the front man for Hoppie Vaughan and the Ministers of Soul based out of Roanoke, VA performing classic soul, R&B, blues and funk.
