The Community of Newport presents their annual July 4th Parade and Celebration on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 starting at 11:00 am.
The parade starts at 11:00 am and all are welcome to participate. Parade participants should be at the First Christian Church along Rose Road at 10:30 am for the lineup. The parade route follows Blue Grass Trail to the Newport Community Park.
Additionally, at the conclusion of the parade, the Newport-Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church will host an Independence Day Celebration at the Village Green featuring a hot dog and hamburger luncheon.
