Duncan Ford Lincoln Mazda hosts a “Ford Drive 4UR Community” event on Saturday, June 23, 2018 to raise money for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Squads.

Schedule of Events:
• 12:00 pm: Jaws of Life Demo
• 2:00 pm: Try Out Fire Gear and Equipment
• 3:00-5:00 pm: Child Car Seat Checks

During the “Ford Drive 4UR Community,” Ford Motor Company will donate $20.00 for each registered and verified test drive of a Ford vehicle up to $6,000.00 to benefit the completion of the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Training Center including the live fire training facility for local fire and rescue squads.

The fire department and rescue squads will be on hand conducting a “jaws of life” demonstration as they tear and cut a car in half, have fire trucks on hand for attendees to view, will conduct child car seat checks and attendees can try out fire gear and equipment. There will also be light refreshments available.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue is predominantly an all-volunteer agency. Locally available training keeps volunteers response-ready and avoids sending them across the state for training which is expensive and makes them unavailable to respond to emergencies.

Duncan Ford Mazda is located at 125 Jennelle Road in Blacksburg, VA (off of Business 460 between Christiansburg and Blacksburg).
