Description:
The Newport Jamboree presents their June 2018 Jamboree featuring the music of Dale Cash and County Connection on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Newport Community Park.

Musician Dale Cash plays guitar and performs good old classic country and folk tunes, and some of those songs you know by heart. Come on by, tap your foot, sing along, and enjoy acoustic tunes.

The County Connection is a four piece bluegrass band which is Catawba based. Its members include Pam Landreth on bass, Frank Garman on guitar, Garry Williams on banjo and Melvin Linkous on fiddle.

The local Ruritan chapter will be selling concessions including hot dogs and snacks and be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket.

We will ask for a $5.00 donation from each adult to cover the bands and pay for the park rental. Kids under 12 get in free.

Bring a chair, pack a swimsuit and invite a friend.

The Village of Newport Ruritan Park is conveniently located 1.4 miles down Highway 42 / 650 Bluegrass Trail keep your eyes peeled for the signs off of 460 West.
