The Clean Valley Council presents Clean Valley's Riverfest on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Smith Park in Roanoke, VA.
Event Schedule:
• 11:00 am: Opening Ceremony
• 12:00 pm: Duck Race
• 1:00 pm: Regatta Race
• 3:00 pm: Awards Ceremony
Riverfest is a free day full of fun, laughter, competition and watershed education to be held along the Roanoke River. Watch recycled boat races with teams testing their creative, building and boating skills as they race boats made only of recycled materials. Participate in the Great Duck Race with all proceeds supporting several local non-profits. There will be tons of fun for all with river advocacy, watershed education activities for kids and adults, live music from GOTE, food and food trucks, beer, games, face painting and more!

The Clean Valley Council is a non-profit organization that provides environmental education and outreach programs for the Roanoke Valley. CVC provides leadership, education, and programming for the Cities of Roanoke and Salem, the Counties of Botetourt and Roanoke and the Town of Vinton. We encourage stewardship and leadership through education promoting habits and practices that protect our waterways, natural resources, and our lands.
