Description:
Raymond F. Ratcliffe Memorial Transportation Museum presents Ratcliffe Museum Lesson and Legacies Series titled "Pulaski A Railroad Town" on Sunday, April 29, 2018.
Enjoy a brief history of Pulaski and the railroad narrated by Gary Eifried.
Ever wonder why the Norfolk Southern railroad runs right through the center of town? Why did the railroad come here in the first place? Where exactly was Martin’s Tank? Did you ever hear of the engine named Cynthia? How did the town and the railroad grow with each other? These questions and more will be answered in the presentation, “Pulaski, a Railroad Town”.
Period photographs will be compared to the displays on the M. Brockmeyer layout, the focal point of the Ratcliffe Transportation Museum, and the trains will be running.
