New River Land Trust presents an Early Birders Field Trip at Gateway Trail located near Heritage Park on Wednesday, April 25, 2018.
The New River Land Trust is offering free field trips through our new Early Birder Program. They are designed for kids ages 6-12 and their families.
On this walk up Gateway Trail near Heritage Park, we will be spotting for american goldfinch, carolina wrens and chipping sparrows. The program will be led by lead by Master Naturalists Debbie Applequist and Barb Glaser.
The program is free, but RSVP is required for all events since space may be limited. Please email conservation@newriverlandtrust.org to reserve your spot.
