Description:
The Virginia Tech Union (VTU) presents Misterwives in Concert featuring Smallpools and Vinyl Theatre on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Burruss Auditorium on the campus of Virginia Tech.

VTU is kicking off the semester with a Fall Concert featuring Misterwives, Smallpools, and Vinyl Theatre.

MisterWives is a pop, dance, soul, folk band based in New York City. They have an unusual sound that combines elements of synth pop, folk, and indie rock, falling somewhere between the quirky dance-pop of No Doubt and the pastoral folk-rock of Of Monsters and Men.

MisterWives have opened for acts such as Panic! at the Disco, Twenty One Pilots, Half Moon Run, Bleachers, The Mowgli's, Walk the Moon and American Authors.

Tickets are $5.00 for Virginia Tech students and $20.00 for the general public.

Tickets can be purchased in person at the Squires Student Center from 12:00-5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, by phone at 540-231-5615 or online. A limited number of tickets may be sold at the door if they are still available.

Doors open at 7:00 pm and the show begins at 8:00 pm.
