Sustainable Blacksburg presents the 2017 Blacksburg Sustainability Week Kick Off Event with Bike Parade on Saturday, September 16, 2017 starting at the Virginia Tech Electric Parking Lot in Blacksburg, VA.
In order kick Sustainability Week off in style, our very own Mayor Ron Rordam will be leading us in a short but fun-packed bike parade from the Virginia Tech Electric Parking Lot to the Blacksburg Farmers Market.
The ride is designed for all ages and abilities – you just need to bring yourself (a helmet of course) and a bike!
Enjoy free face-painting, free bike safety checks, raffle items and a special prize for each participant!
All are welcome.
