Description:
Virginia Tech hosts the 1st Annual Virginia Tech Corps Day at the Virginia Tech Drillfield on Saturday, September 16, 2017.

Virginia Tech Corps Day is as an opportunity for the Hokie Nation and the local community to experience a day in the life of the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets.

Among the planned activities are pull-up and push-up competition stations, drill practice featuring marching and singing cadences, tactical face painting, dress like a cadet and a chance to race through the Corps of Cadets obstacle course! For kids, there will also be a miniature O-Course.

For college students, there is a $5.00 fee to participate in the obstacle course. The proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. There will be prizes for winners and chances for fraternity and sororities to win money for their chapter.

The Grillfield Food Truck will also be on site for food purchases.

So come on out, bring your friends, and get to know the Corps of Cadets!
