Description:
The Blacksburg Aquatic Center, located at 625 Patrick Henry Drive, will be sponsoring a Synchronized Swimming Open House on Saturday, January 11th from 11 am - 1:30 pm.

This free event will introduce participants to the fundamentals of synchronized swimming, such as sculling, layouts and more.

The open house will be led by experienced instructor, Holly Grant. Holly is a United States Masters Synchronized Swimming (USMSS) Certified Coach and comes to the Blacksburg Aquatic Center with an extensive background in synchronized swimming. Holly’s knowledge, pleasant personality, smile and patience are what help to make her an engaging and effective instructor.

Attendees will be able to experience synchronized swimming as well as discuss its benefits with Holly and other participants. In addition, refreshments will be served, educational information provided and a schedule for the next session of synchronized swimming classes distributed.
