Singer Leslie Brooks presents her "I Remember December" Concert and CD Release Party on Friday, December 13th at the Glade Church in Blacksburg, VA.

This soul-edged jazz/folk/rockin'country singer-songwriter originally from Kentucky now resides in Virginia. She has played selective venues in over 16 states in the United States as well as performances in Monte Carlo and Norway. Her songwriting has taken her to Kerrville, Texas as a Newfolk Finalist in 1994 and 1995 and on to win The W.B. Stevens/Townes Van Zant award in 1997.
She has opened for Heart, James Taylor, Bob Margolin and Willie Nelson to name a few and has six CD's to her credit.

Her new CD "I Remember December" is an eclectic collection of original songs and will be available for purchase. A reception will follow her concert.

The Glade Church is located at 1600 Glade Road in Blacksburg, VA.
