Get from Massages (open to Virginia Tech students only) on Saturday, December 7, Noon - 4 PM in the Owens Banquet Room.

Note: There will be a lunch break from 2 - 2:30 PM.

Feeling a little tense as exams approach? Come get a free 10-15 minute massage this weekend from the students of VT organization Exploring Massage! We’ll be in The Owens Banquet Room this Saturday, December 7 from Noon to 4 PM. We've been practicing all semester under the care of Blacksburg's talented massage therapists for this event, all to help you de-stress before exams!

We will have one or two chairs devoted to walk-ins throughout the event, so come out and get a free massage!

A few guidelines you should follow:
1) Wear a loose, soft shirt. This will bring greater comfort to both you and the student administering the massage. We will not ask you to remove any articles of clothing, excepting coats or jackets.

2) You should NOT receive a massage if you're sick. Believe it or not, a massage will make you sicker.

3) You should NOT receive a massage if you've been in a car crash within the past week. You may have injuries you don’t know about yet.

4) If you have any cuts, bruises, sprains, or areas that have had recent surgery, let us know before the massage! A massage could worsen these conditions.

5) We are not therapists, and these massages are not meant to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition; we simply want to help you relax.
