The Blacksburg Library presents Noisy Noisemakers and Buzzing Bugs on Thursday, December 12, 2013.
Why do mosquitos buzz in peoples’ ears? How do bees make that sound? Can I buzz too? Come learn with us about vibration, sound, and (most importantly) bugs as you make your own buzzing noisemaker! You can then customize your noisemaker for style and maximum loudness.
Younger kids (4 and under) are also welcome to come explore shapes and colors by making a bee craft.
