Description:
Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. presents the 2013 Winter Lights Festival on Friday, December 6th throughout downtown Blacksburg.

Enjoy a variety of family friendly activities throughout downtown Blacksburg including singing, Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus, hot chocolate and cider and more.

Schedule of Activities:
• 4:00-8:00 pm - Downtown Merchants Annual Open Houses
Enjoy late night shopping, free gift wrap, snacks and beverages and holiday specials.

• 4:00-7:00 pm - Holiday Craft Market at Market Square Park
Enjoy free hot chocolate and hot cider, music of Carol Singer and a variety of crafts and holiday items on sale from area crafters and merchants.

• 4:00-7:00 pm - Vote for favorite Holiday Tree inside Kent Square
While voting, enjoy refreshments and holiday activities. Kick off the Voting with "Cookies, Candy Canes and Cocoa" compliments of our participating tree "artistes". 5-7 pm in Kent Square lobby. Voting continues until December 21st.

• 4:00-5:30 pm - Pictures with Santa & Mrs. Claus at The Lyric
Bring your own camera and take pictures with Santa and his wife.

• 4:30 pm - Performance by Blacksburg Children's Master Chorale at Market Square Park

• 5:00 pm - Performance by Blacksburg Children's Master Chorale at Henderson Lawn Stage

• 5:30 pm - Tree Lighting with music from Blacksburg Children's Chorale near Henderson Lawn.

• 6:00 pm - TubaChristmas on Henderson Lawn Stage
Enjoy holiday music from tubas and euphoniums. Co-sponsored by the Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. and the Department of Music at Virginia Tech.

• 7:00 pm - Holiday Parade on Main Street


All are welcome and admission is free.
