Art in the Garden at the Hahn Horticulture Garden presents the opening artist reception for "No Boundaries: America to Zambia" with artist Linda Harrison-Parsons on Friday, November 15th.
Blacksburg artist Linda Harrison-Parsons received a BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore, MD and her MFA from George Washington University. The love of nature and travel has influenced her work, having opportunities to see animals in their natural habitat.
Linda describes herself as "a nature and wildlife artist, documenting moments in time - creating art from what is here today and maybe gone tomorrow." She works in soft pastel and pastel pencils on cotton rag paper, painted in plein air using a reductive technique.
